The fully automatic folder gluer is a commonly used machine for carton production. The entire machine consists of three main sections: the vacuum feeding section, gluing and folding section, and counting, stacking and delivery section.

The carton machine is controlled by a PLC-based computer control system and features dual-frequency inverter synchronization for simple, fast, reliable and precise operation. It performs automatic feeding, gluing and folding, counting, stacking and delivery. Corrugated sheets are conveyed by synchronous belts, while a differential speed control system provides precise adjustment.

With an average gluing speed of 230 m/min, the machine offers high-speed, energy-efficient production while significantly reducing labor costs. It is suitable for gluing large and irregularly shaped cartons, such as TV cartons, fruit boxes and food packaging boxes, providing high production efficiency and reduced labor requirements.

Main Features

• Vacuum Belt Feeding:
  The machine adopts a vacuum suction belt feeding system, ensuring accurate and reliable sheet feeding.
• Independent Feeding Control:
  High-quality electromagnetic clutches and electromagnetic braking systems allow the feeding section to be controlled independently for simple and convenient operation.
• Adjustable Pressure Wheels:
  The pressure wheels are synchronized with the folding section and can be adjusted in height to accommodate corrugated sheets with a thickness of 2–8 mm.
• Variable-Frequency Feeding:

  The main motor adopts a variable-frequency speed control system, providing low-noise operation, flexible speed adjustment and stable performance.
• High-Friction Synchronous Belts:
  Imported high-friction belts are used to convey and automatically stack the corrugated sheets, ensuring smooth and reliable feeding.
• Stainless-Steel Gluing Rollers:
  Stainless-steel gluing rollers provide uniform glue application, stable operation and reduced glue consumption.
• Sheet Alignment and Crease Correction:
  The folding section is equipped with a sheet alignment device and crease correction device to improve carton forming accuracy.
• Adjustable Positioning Guide Rollers:
  Two rows of adjustable inner positioning guide rollers are installed in the folding section to ensure higher forming accuracy.
• High-Speed Folding:
  Folding speed can be adjusted from 0 to 230 m/min.
• Synchronous Belt Sheet Conveying:
  The sheet conveying system uses synchronous belts and synchronous pulleys to prevent belt slippage, ensuring precise and reliable sheet feeding.
• Automatic Stacking and Delivery:
  Finished cartons are automatically stacked neatly and delivered.

Counting and Delivery Section

The main motor of the counting section adopts variable-frequency speed control, allowing flexible speed adjustment and ensuring stable and reliable start-up.

The finished cartons are conveyed by belts and neatly accumulated at speeds of 0–230 m/min.

A tapping plate is used to align the cartons during stacking, providing an effective correction function with minimal deviation. Counting and carton discharge are operated pneumatically and controlled by the PLC electrical system, ensuring fast, accurate and reliable operation.

The machine adopts a PLC programmable controller and touchscreen digital control system, providing simple operation and reliable performance. Production data can be entered without stopping the machine, and cartons can be counted automatically.

The delivery section uses a synchronized conveying and compression system consisting of a bottom conveyor belt and an upper pressure belt. This ensures that the glued cartons are firmly bonded and delivered neatly.

Servo Differential Adjustment

A servo-controlled differential adjustment system is adopted to effectively correct problems such as fish-tail misalignment and scissor-effect deviations at the glued seam, significantly improving carton forming and gluing accuracy.
